Domain Tracking

Overview
Domain Tracking lets you record visitor activity on your own website. You register a domain in LeadX, add the tracking snippet to that site, and the activity it reports back is stored against your records.
Access
- Navigation path:
Sidebar > Settings > Feature Settings > Domain Tracking - Route:
/domain-tracking - Access: available to users who can view domain tracking.
What Users Can Do
- add a domain you want to track
- copy the token and tracking URL used to install tracking on that site
- review the website activity reported for a domain
- delete a domain you no longer track
Steps To Add A Domain
- Click
Add. - Enter a
Namefor the domain. - Enter the
Domainitself. - Save the record.
- Open the saved record to copy its
TokenandTracking URL. - Install the tracking snippet on your website using those values.
Table Details
The domain list shows:
- Name
- Domain
- Token
- Created At and Created By
- Updated At and Last Updated By
Row actions available are view and delete.
Viewing Website Activity
Open a saved domain to see its Website Activity — the visits and events reported by the tracking snippet on that site.
Helpful Notes
- Before you add anything, the page shows Get Started! Add your first domain to start tracking.
- The token is generated by LeadX and cannot be edited by hand.
- No activity is recorded until the tracking snippet is live on the website.
